Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: October 14, 2026
SelfieHue is for looking at your own face: your colors, your face shape, a haircut before you get it. These rules keep it that way. They are part of the Terms of Service.
Photos you may upload
- A photo of yourself.
- A photo of another adult who has agreed to you using it here.
Photos you may not upload
- Photos of other people without their permission. This includes public figures and people you found online.
- Photos of children under 13, even your own.
- Nudity, sexual content, or violent or shocking images.
- Identity documents, or photos that show someone else's private information.
- Photos you have no right to use.
How results may not be used
- To pretend to be another person, or to mislead anyone about what a real person looks like.
- To rate, rank, mock, bully or harass another person. The proportions reading describes geometry in one photo and is not a judgment of anyone.
- As evidence of identity, age, health or anything else it was not made for.
- For anything unlawful.
The service itself
- Do not try to get around the safety checks, the daily free allowance or the credit system.
- Do not create several accounts to collect free credits.
- Do not use scripts or bots to send requests, and do not resell access or results as a service.
- Do not probe, overload or attack the site.
What the tools will and will not do
The try-on tools change hair only: the cut, or the color. They are not built to change a face, to swap faces, or to change a body or clothing, and we do not offer those. Styles and colors are chosen from our own library.
What happens when a rule is broken
- An automated check looks at each photo before a try-on. It refuses photos that show nudity, a young child, no face, or more than one person. The image model runs its own safety check on the result.
- A refused photo or result is not shown and is not charged.
- We may remove results and limit, suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. Serious cases may be reported to the authorities where the law requires.
Report a problem
If someone has used your photo here without your permission, or you have seen SelfieHue used against these rules, email support@selfiehue.com. Tell us what happened and we will act on it, including deleting the photo and results involved.
