Terms of Service

• You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, use the site with the permission of a parent or guardian.
• You are responsible for your account and for what is done with it.
• One person, one account. Do not create several accounts to collect free credits.

• Color analysis, face shape and proportions are estimates worked out from one photo. They change with light, angle and expression. They are style guidance, not medical, psychological or professional advice.
• The proportions score describes geometry in a single photo: symmetry and classical ratios. It is not a measure of beauty or of a person's worth, and it should not be used to judge other people.
• Try-on images are AI previews. They change only hair. A real haircut or color depends on your hair, your stylist and the products used, and will not match the preview exactly.
• Results are deleted 24 hours after they are made unless you keep them, as described in the Privacy Policy.

• Only upload a photo of yourself, or of a person who has agreed to it.
• You keep all rights in your photos. You give us permission to process a photo only to produce the result you asked for. We do not use your photos to train AI models, to identify anyone, or for advertising.
• What you may and may not upload is set out in the Acceptable Use Policy, which is part of these terms.

As between you and us, the reports and images made for you are yours to use, including to show your stylist or to share. Because they are produced by AI, similar results may be produced for other people, and we cannot promise that a result is protected by copyright. You are responsible for how you use and share your results.

• Paid features use credits. A detailed report costs 10 credits and each try-on image costs 2 credits. You can compare up to 4 try-on images at once.
• A new account receives 10 free credits, once per person. Without an account you can make 2 free try-on images a day while the daily free allowance for the whole site lasts.
• If a generation fails, or a photo or result is refused by a safety check, the credits for it are returned automatically.
• Credits are not money. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred or exchanged, and can be used only on SelfieHue. Credits you buy do not expire. Credits that come with a subscription are renewed each billing period and do not carry over.
• We may change what features cost. Credits you already hold keep their number.

• Prices are shown on the pricing page before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not see or store your full card number.
• Prices are in US dollars. Visitors in the euro area see and pay the same amounts in euros.
• A subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account and keep what you paid for until the end of the current period.
• Taxes may be added where the law requires.
• Refunds are covered by the Refund Policy, which is part of these terms.

SelfieHue is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the makers of the AI models it uses, or by any brand, salon or product that may be mentioned in its guides.

The site, its design, text, guides, sample images and software belong to us or to those who licensed them to us. You may use the site for your own personal purposes. Do not copy it, resell it, or collect its content or results by automated means.

You can stop using SelfieHue and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may limit, suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, that abuses free credits, or that puts the service or other people at risk.

The site is provided as it is. AI results can be wrong, and the service can be interrupted. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that results are accurate, that they fit a particular purpose, or that the site will always be available. Decisions you take on the basis of a result, such as a haircut, a hair color or a purchase, are your own.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you for any claim about the site is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits rights that the law does not allow to be limited.

We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top of this page, and if a change is significant we will say so on the site. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
