About SelfieHue

SelfieHue is a set of tools for looking at your own face a little more clearly: which colors suit you, what shape your face is, and what a haircut or a hair color would look like before you commit to it.

The tools

How the analysis works

The analysis tools measure your photo in your own browser. A face-landmark model finds points on your face, and from those points we work out proportions and read the color of your skin, hair and eyes. The season, the face shape and the readings then follow from fixed rules, so the same photo gives the same answer every time. Your photo is not uploaded for this.

The numbers describe one photo. Light, angle and expression change them, which is why each result tells you what could be more exact and shows the closest alternatives. The proportions reading is geometry and nothing more: it is not a measure of beauty or of anyone's worth.

How the try-on works

For a haircut or a hair color, your photo is sent to an image model with one instruction: change the hair, leave the face and everything else as it is. You pick from a library of cuts and shades that we tested one by one. The result is a preview to take to your stylist, not a promise of the exact outcome.

Your photos

We keep as little as we can. Photos are not used to train AI models and are not used to identify anyone. Results are deleted after 24 hours unless you choose to keep them. The details are in the Privacy Policy.

The faces in our sample photos and guide covers are AI-generated. They are not real people.
