How to change your hair color in a photo

Popular hair colors to try
- Blonde: platinum, honey, butter, ash and strawberry blonde.
- Brunette: chocolate, chestnut, mushroom brown and caramel.
- Red: copper, auburn, cherry cola and ginger.
- Dark: soft black, espresso and blue-black.

- Fashion colors: pastel pink, lavender, teal, peach and bold blue.
Which hair color suits me?
Hair colors that echo your skin's undertone usually look most natural:
- Warm undertones (golden, peachy skin) tend to glow with golden blonde, copper, caramel and warm brown.
- Cool undertones (pink, rosy skin) often suit ash blonde, platinum, cool brown, burgundy and blue-black.
- Neutral undertones can usually wear both.
Not sure which you are? The AI color analysis finds your color season from a selfie and lists your best hair shades, which you can try here with one click.
Before you dye: things to know
- Going lighter is harder than going darker. Big jumps from dark brown to blonde usually take bleach and more than one salon visit.
- Your base color affects the result. The preview shows the target shade; your colorist will tell you how close your hair can get in one session.
- Show the preview at your appointment. A picture of the color on you is clearer than a celebrity photo with different skin and lighting.
