Color Analysis Quiz: What Color Season Are You?
Answer 10 quick questions about your skin, hair and eyes. No photo, no sign-up, about two minutes.
What color are the veins on your inner wrist in daylight?
How the quiz works
The quiz scores your answers on the three things color analysts look at:
- Undertone: are you warmer (golden, peachy) or cooler (pink, rosy)?
- Depth: is your overall coloring light, medium or deep?
- Clarity: do clear, saturated colors suit you, or do softer, dusty shades look better?
Your combination points to one of 16 color seasons. Because self-reported answers are less precise than a photo, we also show the two seasons closest to yours.
Tips for honest answers
- Answer for your natural hair color, not the color it is dyed now.
- Look at your skin in daylight by a window, not under warm indoor bulbs.
- If you are torn between two answers, pick the one a friend would choose for you.
- Think about colors people compliment you in, not just colors you like.
What to do with your result
- Check your palette. Hold a few clothes from your result palette up to your face in daylight and compare with clothes outside it.
- Confirm with a selfie. Our AI color analysis reads your actual skin, hair and eye colors and gives a full 30+ shade palette.
- Try new hair colors. See shades from your season on your own photo with the hair color changer.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this color analysis quiz free?
Yes. The quiz is completely free and does not need an account or a photo.
How accurate is a color analysis quiz?
A quiz is a good starting point, but it depends on how you see your own coloring, which is hard to judge. Most people land in the right season family. For a closer result, use the photo-based AI color analysis.
How do I know if I am warm or cool toned?
Look at the veins on your inner wrist in daylight: greenish veins suggest warm, bluish or purple suggest cool, and a mix suggests neutral. Also notice whether gold or silver jewelry makes your skin look brighter. The quiz asks both questions.
What are the 16 color seasons?
Each of the four seasons has four types. Spring: Light, Warm, Bright and True Spring. Summer: Light, Cool, Soft and True Summer. Autumn: Soft, Warm, Deep and True Autumn. Winter: Cool, Bright, Deep and True Winter.
Can my color season change?
Your natural coloring stays mostly the same, but tanning, aging and hair dye can shift which colors look best. Retake the quiz if your hair or skin has changed a lot.
