One Selfie, Three Answers: Color Season, Face Shape and Hairstyle Try-On
SelfieHue reads one selfie three ways, then lets you test the answers on the same photo: your color season, your face shape, and how new hairstyles, hair colors and beards look on you. It is not three separate apps. It works in your phone's browser, with nothing to download.
How it works
- Take one selfie. Face a window in daylight, with no filter and your hair pulled back. You can use your camera or upload a JPG, PNG or WebP photo.
- Get your color season. Start at the AI color analysis. You get one of 16 seasons, a preview palette and your two neighboring seasons. It is free and needs no sign-up.
- Get your face shape. Open the face shape detector. It measures your face in the same way and names your shape and your second-closest shape. Also free, no sign-up.
- Try it on. Open the hairstyle try-on, the hair color changer or the beard filter. The cuts that suit your face shape come first in the list, and the shades for your season come first in the color list.
Your photo carries over
You do not upload again for each tool. Inside the same browser tab, the last photo you used is ready in the next tool, and your face shape and color season are remembered in your browser. Close the tab and the photo is gone.

What this will not do
SelfieHue does not make AI headshots or profile photos, does not swap faces or clothes, and does not try on glasses or makeup. It changes your hair, your hair color and your facial hair, and it measures your face. The preview is a guide, not a promise of how a real cut, dye or beard will turn out.

No. A session with real drapes is still the most precise option. This is a fast first step that shows you which season family to start with. We have not published an accuracy study, and lighting changes the result, so retake the photo in daylight if it surprises you.
Does SelfieHue store my photos?
For the free analysis, your photo is measured in your browser and not uploaded. For previews, the photo is sent to an image model when you press Generate and is not stored; the generated image is deleted after 24 hours unless you keep it.
Do I need a subscription?
No. You can buy a credit pack once, and credits never expire. Monthly and yearly plans exist for people who use it often, but you never need one to get a result.
