AI Hairstyle Changer: Try On Hairstyles Before You Cut
Upload a selfie, choose up to four haircuts, and compare them side by side on your own face. Your face stays the same; only your hair changes.

or drop a photo here ·
- Face the camera, with your current hair visible.
- No hats or hands near your face, and no heavy filters.
- Going from long to short? Tie your hair back first for a cleaner result.
Your photo is sent to our image model only when you press Generate. We do not keep it, and results are deleted after 24 hours unless you save them. Only use a photo of yourself, or one you have permission to use.
How to try on hairstyles
- Upload a clear selfie. Face the camera, with your current hair visible and your forehead and ears not hidden by hands or hats.
- Pick hairstyles. Browse 100+ cuts by length (pixie, bob, lob, long), style (layers, curtain bangs, shag, buzz cut, fade, taper, curls) and texture.
- Generate and compare. See up to four looks next to each other. Save the ones you like, or change the length and color and generate again.
- Take it to your stylist. Download the image and show it at your appointment so you both mean the same thing by "a little shorter."
Hairstyle ideas to try
- Women: curtain bangs, butterfly cut, long layers, wolf cut, French bob, blunt lob, pixie cut, shag, face-framing layers.
- Men: textured crop, low taper fade, mid fade, buzz cut, quiff, slick back, curtains, side part, long flow.
- Big changes: going from long to short, adding bangs, or trying curls are the cuts people most want to preview, because they take months to grow back.
Find hairstyles for your face shape
Not sure where to start? Run the free face shape detector first. It tells you whether your face is oval, round, square, heart, oblong, diamond or triangle, and we move the cuts that suit that shape to the top of the list.
- Round faces usually benefit from height on top and longer, angled lengths.
- Square faces are softened by layers and side-swept bangs.
- Long faces look balanced with width at the sides and bangs.
- Heart faces suit chin-length bobs and volume around the jaw.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does the AI hairstyle changer work?
An image model detects your hair and repaints only that area with the style you choose, keeping your face, skin tone and expression unchanged. The result shows how the cut's shape and length would look on you.
Is it free to try on hairstyles?
Every new account gets 10 free credits. Each hairstyle image uses 2 credits, and if a generation fails you are not charged.
Will the result look exactly like my real haircut?
It is a close preview, not a promise. Your hair's real thickness, texture and cowlicks affect the final cut. Use the image to decide on a direction and to explain what you want to your stylist.
Can men use the hairstyle changer?
Yes. There is a full men's library with fades, tapers, crops, longer styles and facial hair combinations. For beards, try the beard filter.
What photo works best?
A front-facing selfie in good light with your hair visible. Avoid hats, hands near your face and heavy filters. If you have very long hair and want a short cut, tie it back first for a cleaner result.
What happens to my photos?
Uploaded photos and generated images are deleted automatically after 24 hours unless you save them to your account. They are never used for facial recognition or training.
